This Owaooye Oba Enoch Akinyemi of Imesi-Ile, Osun State called on the government to pay special attention to the community as a gateway to neighboring Ekiti State to further improve security across the state.

Oba Akinyemi spoke at the finale of the 2022 Imesi-Ile Day celebrations, but he challenged the town’s indigenous people to continue supporting efforts to develop and protect residents’ lives and property.

The crown prince praised the hard work of hunters and other community volunteers to keep the community safe, and urged Aboriginal people in Imesi-Ile around the world to continue to support efforts to develop it.

Oba Adeyemi said, “We should not depend on the government. We should do our best to ensure that we contribute to the development of the town, and we can do it if we put our minds to it.”
