The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has promised to ensure a stable and united Nigeria if elected into office in 2023.

Tinnub was speaking at the inauguration of the Delta state APC gubernatorial campaign in Warri on Saturday.

While insisting that his campaign promises would come true, Tinnub assured Nigerians, especially the young, that their dream of a stable and united Nigeria would come true.

“I will keep my promise to you. You are the future of this country. Your dream will come true for a stable and united Nigeria,” he declared.

Tinubu was accompanied by party leaders to Delta, including gubernatorial candidate Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege and his running mate Friday Osanebi.

In his speech, Tinubu further reminded the people of the Delta about the state’s lack of industry and warned that another vote for the PDP in power in the state would be tantamount to a continuation of 23 years of underdevelopment in the Delta.

Tinubu vehemently condemned the downturn in Delta’s industrial development, saying, “Warri are going downhill. They don’t know the way; they don’t have the vision, the brains, the knowledge and the way to get rich.”

He said, “Go to Lagos and see the development and record of beautiful people. Here is hope, here is development, here is progress, here is Omoagag, here is prosperity.

“These people year after year; choose and choose, lie to you. They borrow money to celebrate market stalls. Where is the housing industry going? Where is the job creation opportunity? They have no shame!

“Our competitors have no shame. They fight in public. How can they even think about governance?”

“When Atiku was there, he was fighting openly with his boss. They told us how they spent PTF money to buy a car for their girlfriend. Do they have any shame? Would you vote for them again?”

Also present were Tinubu’s wife, Senator Pastor Remi; Vice Presidential candidate Kassim Shettima; Senate President Ahmad Rawan; former APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomhole; Hope Uzodimma, State Governor; Representative Abdullahi Adamu, Senator, National Chairman of the Party; Elder Omeni Sobotie, Chairman, APC Delta State; Elder Godsday Orubebe, Director General, Delta State Movement; Dr. Delta Central Senator Candidate Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, Chief Ede Dafinone; Senator Peter Nwaboshi: Former Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio; and Diaspora Committee Chairman, Nigerian, Hon. Abike Dabiri, among others.

As early as 8 a.m., carload faithful from various constituencies and communities across the Delta State could be seen mobilizing their members to the stadiums where the masses gather.
