Music star Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has revealed that the late iconic singer Bob Marley inspired him to “live forever”.

According to him, his goal for the next chapter of his life is to manage his ego and live forever through his music.

Speaking of his goals, Wizkid said he wanted to “live forever”.

“Not physically, but to live forever for whatever I create,” he explained.

Wizkid, recently watched Bob Marley’s musical “Get Up, Stand Up!” and noticed that watching the show reaffirmed the life he wanted.

He said, “I was like, ‘Yo, we’re watching a Bob Marley game, and this guy died decades ago.’

“I didn’t even know he died at 36. He did so much at a young age. It just reaffirms what I did; I have to keep taking it to the highest heights.

“Because I knew that one day they would definitely create a play about me.”

“More Love Less Ego” by Wizkid will be released on Friday, November 11, 2022.

Earlier today (Tuesday), the singer revealed a tracklist of 13 songs including Ayra Starr, Naira Marley, Skepta and more.
