The Labour Party’s Presidential Campaign Committee will officially start its campaign on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Rafia, Nasarawa State, north-central Nigeria.

fist The LP’s PCC changed its initial logo on October 20 due to raging floods, which affected 33 of the 36 federal states, the report said.

A brief statement from LP PCC chief spokesperson Dr Yunusa Tanko on Monday night confirmed the new date to reporters.

He said: “Our presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obie, had to visit affected states to sympathize with affected states and communities across the country.

“Following his visit, the campaign committee of our great party saw the need to seriously launch the campaign from the geopolitical region of north-central Nigeria.

“We call on our support groups and many of our supporters to run a worthy campaign for the 2023 general election.”
